
If I were to describe Narcolepsy, its kind of hard to be honest. You’re just always tired. It doesn’t matter how much you sleep. One minute I feel productive and full of minute, literally the next minute, I am falling asleep while holding a cup of water.
Its like having a demon on the side of my shoulder telling me to go to sleep, versus the angel who is trying to keep me awake. The demon always succeed and I end up sleeping my day and night away.
I’ll never forget the first day I got diagnosed. I had just started my first semester of nursing school and I was struggling to stay awake.
