Kenneth, thank you for sharing. From my years of teaching, one memory comes to light. Out of the clear blue, a young woman in high school developed Type 1. A family with a newborn with Type 1 faces a whole set of challenges.

My Granddaughter who is 7yrs now has had it since birth. They picked up on the usual signs drinking a lot etc
