Remember that.
If you have been blinded-sided by trauma, your reactions are going to be intense, unknown, scary and unpredictable.
This is normal. It is what we would expect.
You are not going crazy. There is nothing wrong with you.
Don’t add to the trauma by berating yourself.
Your reactions … they reveal you are in a state of shock. Your world is in a mess, and your security’s destroyed.
So cut yourself some slack. Take it one day at a time. Remove any pressures.
Just be there for yourself.
