This morning was my re-scheduled MRI scan at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. My first one didn’t go well, due to a problem finding a vein for a cannula. I must be honest I was a bit anxious about the procedure and not initially thinking of spiritual matters. As I was rolled into the MRI my anxiety levels went through the roof, somehow I found the ability amidst the rhythmic din to pray. In the claustrophobic surroundings I found peace and something else that I wasn’t expecting.
