Christmas Cheer.

We live down the road from a Christmas tree farm. Ever since we moved in, we’d been anxiously waiting for Christmas to come around so that we can pick out our own tree to put up and decorate together. I haven’t had a real tree since I was a small child, so I was excited to bring one into the house. We drive up the road and park and get out. A young boy and a man greets us and asks us if we wanted to choose a pre-cut tree or one that we can cut down ourselves. We said we wanted a pre-cut one, so they point us over to a group of pre-cut trees.

We go up and down a couple of rows. They were all very beautiful, but we narrowed it down to two. One was full and thick and the other one was thin and straight…
