Disability needs Partisanship

It’s good to know the election is over, right? Regardless of who is sitting in the Oval Office the act of  governing and protecting the American people is never over. I promise followers I’m not trying to break my only rule of not discussing politics. People with disabilities are so often thought of as an afterthought when it comes to both  society and the political landscape. When it comes to the subject of disability rights. Political lines don’t matter, because we have been ignored by both sides of the aisle. 

 Yes, I know we have the Americans with Disabilities Act and it was groundbreaking, but that was 30 years ago. The ABLE Act does allow us to have more money in our bank accounts there  so many restrictions  and confusion around it even the most experienced advocates have trouble explaining them to others.
