Epilepsy check up

So yesterday, I went for my epilepsy review where we spoke about how long i had been on Sodium valporate 300mg tablets, a total of 1200mg a day. I have been on these meds for quite some time.

After reviewing the seizures for the last 6 months (19 in total), it was decided by the epilepsy nurse that we step up the sodium valporate to 1600mg gradually starting with 800mg at night.

Since you have been on the medication has there been a decrease in the amount of seizures you have had? The medication is helping?

Although I have been on this medication for more years than I can remember, I would say seizures have decreased unless I am stressed out
