A rough one 7/22

Yesterday morning I showed up to nanny for George 7yrs old and Clay 5 yrs. I have been with them for the last two years…through sickness and health, victories and defeats – tears and laughter.

I am transitioning to a new family so I am only with the boys 2 days a week now. I understand they might be pushing me away because they know I am leaving…but for whatever the reason…yesterdays behavior towards me was MEAN.

I walked in the house and before I could even say “good morning” to George he looked at me and said “WHAT?”

Georges attitude didn’t shock me as he has the tough guy thing going on lately…but the fact that his dad heard and saw him treat me as such and said nothing…that got me.

I contemplated walking out.
