What happens when married couples stop pursuing each other?

In The beginning when men start a new relationship, they pursue a woman with everything that they have. They “wine and dine” us, right? They send flowers, they text us all day long, they bring us our favorite coffee order every time they see us, and do whatever else they find out that we like. Us ladies become their focus 24/7 until we say “yes.”

Then, some time after the wedding an interesting thing happens. They stop pursuing. All that effort they put into “getting us” is now focused elsewhere. Men are conquerors. Like hunters, they go after their prey until just the right moment and then they “pounce.” Then things begin to change and they move on to something else.

That entire process would be great if not for one thing. That was not God’s plan. Oh, the pursuit was His plan and getting us to say “yes” was…
