Miss Charlotte 7/20

Well here she is! This is Miss Charlotte – the 3 month old baby girl that I am caring for.

I am filled with so much emotion and gratitude that god sees fit for me to enter into the life of such a tiny being.

This experience already has brought me into a place of caring and openness and selflessness that I so very much desired.

I never want her to cry so when she does all systems in me awaken to help her – whether it is food – sleep – love – clean clothes…I am here for her.

When my own son was a baby I was a nervous new mother and could not enjoy the purity of the baby stage.

Yesterday I held her, fed her a bottle and sang “You are my sunshine”. I cried in the beauty of that moment.
