The time … I lost my faith

I have never been particularly religious. I grew up Jewish and traditional, never extreme.

My father would say the prayers for the major holidays but we never had big restrictions and we never ate the “not allowed” food.

My husband is much more observant than I am but he has had his up and downs too, before going to study in Israel he used to eat cheese burgers (a big no no in Judaism) but once he came back from Israel he had a total change a mindset and became religious. His family was already pretty observant.

After we got married I started following religion more out of respect for him, so slowly I started keeping shabbat (the Saturday) too.

No TV, no electricity, no touching money, not using your cellphone, not going by car, not doing anything fun basically lol
