
We all have lows, and experience tough times. And we all know the mind is a very powerful thing. So, what can we do to help to change our attitude, and develop a more positive state of mind? Below, are a few ideas:
1. Remind yourself that you are NOT your feelings. Feelings are powerful. They’re also very convincing. We might know that our feelings are lying to us, or that they’re not in line with what we actually think. Even so, it can often feel as if they are right. It can also feel as if they are too powerful to resist.
But neither of those are true.
Sometimes it is right to listen to our mind, and to not cave into the negativity. We do have a choice. We can choose what we’ll believe. We can choose to listen to our rational mind.
