My wayward pup

Sometimes, you are so wayward

But I love you even more at those times

You make me laugh with your silly antics

I can’t help stroking your soft fur

And saying, go on boy

Keep being wayward

It is what makes you cute

And now I look at you

All snug in your bed

Not wanting to go out when I call your name

So I leave you be

Cute and snuggly.
