The time … everybody was making money except for me

I was never interested in having a career. In my community women generally stay home and take care of the kids.

Honestly this concept may bother some women but it never bothered me, I was always totally fine with it and was actually looking forward to it.

Fast forward. I noticed that most women in the US work. Do they work for personal satisfaction? For financial independence? To run away from the kids? I am not sure.

Yesterday we went to these relatives.

The wife has been working on her company for about 14 years, she produces custom jewelry, hand made, made in … not only USA but made in Mahattan lol.

I recall when she started she was buying he supplies from the most expensive stores in Mahattan. Everybody around her was wondering why and judging her as at the time she and her husband had no money and…
