Loving Me

Today I love me

More than ever before

I forgive myself now

For all the scores

Of errors and mistakes

Those times I let me down

I smile when I think of

The times my acts left frowns

On my face

Many times of disgrace

I’ve faced

The race is not given to the swift

Nor the battle to the strong

I know who I am now

And to whom I belong

To the father now

And I love me just as he

All is forgiven, no more shame
