Who would have thought, when that young beautiful girl was crowned queen all those years ago, that I would be alive when she celebrated 70 years on the throne. What an achievement. Like most people in the UK we are celebrating with family and friends.
This afternoon we celebrated in normal with more than enough food and drink to go around and of course granddaughter was the centre of attention
Our thoughts moved to the queen and the fact that she withdrew from this morning’s service at St Paul’s Cathedral
