I studied at a music school in Munich for two years.. During the program, I was surrounded by young musicians with stars in their eyes. An education in music involves intimate cooperation with other students. One cannot study alone. At some point, one has to rely upon other student musicians for support in playing music together and passing exams. Teamwork is inevitable. While you don’t have to become friends with or even like your fellow student musicians, you do have to be professional and reliable, or else others will stop wanting to work with you. During this time, I made acquaintanceships and some friendships at the school that allowed me to function as a student musician. I gladly helped others pass their exams and they helped me.
